Family Home
Keve Street, 2012

The process of planning evoked memories of a childhood spent in the vicinity; of the beach area, the boat hangars built in the '60s and the weekend houses. Back then, the gray tone of the concrete, the pronounced chimneys made of crude concrete, the vibrant colors and the geometric play of the facades used to be regarded as fancy and unheard of, especially when regarded from the Óbuda Gas Factory Estate. This is the world evoked by the unusually evenly structured family home, which, at the same time, is reminiscent of the more typical pieces of the architect's work in its use of materials and low-pitched pentices.
