Nursery
Jászberény, 2016

The floor plan of the nursery reflects a highly transparent and structured world. Surrounded by the row of playrooms and a separate building unit containing the kitchen and the staff areas, the central daycare hall is a lively high-ceiling hub. The soothing shapes of the interior, the nooks and crannies make the playful world of childhood even richer. While not going beyond the typical architecture of the Carpathian Basin—white plaster, visible carpentry work and tile roof—, the façade is an exciting visual adventure with its unexpected and unique openings and shadows.
