The plan of the house, which is a combination of half-pitched roofs and canopies, is organized along an emphatic arc. Oriented towards south in order to preserve the group of old trees growing on the lot and to provide more sunlight, this arc ends in a robust chimney. The dynamically tapered wooden structure above the terrace is a trademark of the creative period, while the broken lines of the doors and windows invoke the ideas of anthroposophic architecture. Executed in natural stone, the footing of the façade upholds a unique plaster structure, which, in the upper level, gradually transits into light wood surfaces.
