The house is a living space, shared and private at the same time, for two generations of a family. The two individual wings are connected with an open atrium, arched over with a porch. The contrast between the expediency of today's life and culture is manifested in the garage door, which opens in the street pediment. To resolve this conflict, the delicate design subtly distracts the attention away from the wide industrial gate, proving the point that practicality and aesthetics are not mutually exclusive. While the courtyard facade allows for more freedom of design, the street facade is a message to the community, since the home is the property of the owner, but the appearance concerns everyone.
